The Manchester Academy Mavericks baseball squad (Yazoo City, MS), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Thursday's league contest with the host Washington Generals (Greenville, MS)

With the triumph, Washington moves its record to 23-5 on the season. The Generals host Riverside (Avon, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 15-8. Riverside lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS)

The Mavericks now possess a 26-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yazoo County for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 12. Manchester Academy will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 8-6 league win over Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 16-8.
