In Thursday's league bout, the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA) in a Colonial bout, on Saturday, April 12. Palisades will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Rough Riders enter the bout with a 0-9 record after their 18-1 league loss to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).
