Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA) and the host McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), observed Kennedy's volleyball team top McClatchy by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, West Park notched a victory over Antelope (Antelope, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
