The Downingtown East Cougars baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Unionville Longhorns to 10 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Downingtown West for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Downingtown East will play a Whippets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA). The Whippets record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Unionville drops to 2-2 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Henderson (West Chester, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0.
