California High School Lacrosse - San Marcos overwhelms Cate

April 10, 2025: Carpinteria, CA 93013

The San Marcos Royals lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the host Cate Rams to 8 in the Royals league triumph on Thursday.

The Royals now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Thacher for a Channel challenge on Tuesday, April 15. San Marcos will clash with a Toads squad coming off a 18-7 league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Toads record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Cate falls to 4-4 on the year. The Rams host Nordhoff (Ojai, CA) to clash with the Rangers in a Channel challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Rangers go into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Nordhoff lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
