South Carolina High School Soccer - Porter-Gaud knocks off Northwood Academy
April 10, 2025: Charleston, SC 29407 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), saw Porter-Gaud's soccer squad triumph over Northwood Academy by a count of 10-0.
The Cyclones (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Fort Dorchester was overwhelmed by Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Chargers battle the John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Northwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Warrriors enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC).
