South Carolina High School Softball - Union County held off by Chesnee
April 10, 2025: Union, SC 29379 In Thursday's non-league test, the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) softball squad got by the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 11. Chesnee will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Centurions go into the test with a 4-13 record after their 12-8 league win over Chapman (Inman, SC).
The Yellowjackets (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Mid-Carolina was nudged by Chapin (Chapin, SC), 8-4, in a non-league test.
