Arizona High School Softball - Douglas bounces Rio Rico
April 10, 2025: Rio Rico, AZ 85648 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ) and the host Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), observed Douglas's softball team prevail over Rio Rico by a tally of 13-1.
The Bulldogs (19-5) will now prepare for their bout against Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ). The Panthers go into the 4A Gila bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Amphitheater was routed by Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ), 17-1, in a non-league bout.
