The York Cougars (York, SC) baseball got by the visiting Clover Eagles (Clover, SC), 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Richland Northeast for a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 14. York will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-10.

With the defeat, Clover drops to 10-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to clash with the Warriors in a 5A Region 3 challenge on Monday, April 13.
