The Richland Rangers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Forest Bearcats to 7 in the Rangers league win on Friday.

The Rangers now own a 9-17 record. They take the field next when they host Newton County for a non-league test on Saturday, April 18.

With the defeat, Forest drops to 5-18 on the year. The Bearcats host McLaurin (Florence, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, April 13. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-10. McLaurin lost 17-15 in their recent non-league test against Meridian (Meridian, MS)
