In Friday's league match, the host Burroughs Burros softball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Serrano Diamondbacks.

The Burros (5-14) will now prepare for their match against Sultana (Hesperia, CA). The Sultans go into the Mojave River match with a 6-13 record.
