The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) and the visiting Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), observed West Central's softball team get by Caston by a tally of 7-6.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against North White (Monon, IN). The Vikings go into the Midwest bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, North White was nipped by Delphi Community (Delphi, IN), 30-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 13. Caston will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Kouts (Kouts, IN).
