The West Central Trojans overwhelmed the visiting North White Vikings softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 13. West Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN).

The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record.
