The Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) softball routed the visiting Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 12-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Bearkats now sport a 18-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host LEAD Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 14. Cushing will encounter a Lions team coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mt. Enterprise moves to 6-9 on the season. The Wildcats host New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a 2A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, April 14. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 1-14.
