The Socorro Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Franklin Cougars to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 27-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pebble Hills for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Saturday, April 11. Socorro will confront a Spartans team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 16-11.

With the loss, Franklin moves to 14-18 on the season. The Cougars travel to Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to confront the Falcons in a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Saturday, April 11. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 23-9. Eastlake lost 5-0 in their recent league battle against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
