In Friday's league test, the Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), by a tally of 11-1.

Next, the Skeeters clash with the Duncanville Panthers (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 test, on Monday, April 13. Mesquite will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX).

The Tigers (10-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians enter the 6A Region II District 11 challenge with a 31-1 record.
