April 11, 2022: Champaign, IL 61820 The Champaign Central Maroons held off the visiting Mattoon Green Wave soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Monday's non-league match.
The Maroons now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richwoods for a Big Twelve match on Tuesday, April 12. Champaign Central will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.
