April 11, 2022: Hillsville, VA 24343 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) and the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), saw Glenvar's soccer squad knock off Carroll County by a count of 3-1.
The Highlanders now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to James River for a Three Rivers test on Thursday, April 14. Glenvar will meet a Knights squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Carroll County drops to 2-5 on the season. The Cavaliers host Radford (Radford, VA) to meet the Bobcats in a Three Rivers test on Thursday, April 14. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Radford won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)
