The Northampton Yellowjackets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting West Point Pointers to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Northampton improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets host St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA) to clash with the Scottie in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 13. The Scottie come into the game with a record of 7-1. St. Margaret's won 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC)

In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) in a Tidewater game, on Tuesday, April 12. West Point will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
