Massachusetts High School Softball - Wachusett Regional bounces St. Paul
April 11, 2022: Holden, MA 01520 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) and the visiting St. Paul (Worcester, MA), witnessed Wachusett Regional's softball squad tip St. Paul by a count of 7-0.
The Mountaineers now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leominster for a Mid-Wach match on Wednesday, April 13. Wachusett Regional will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, St. Paul moves to 2-1 on the season. The travel to Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 13. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 1-0. Notre Dame Academy won 10-2 in their recent non-league match against St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA)
