Texas High School Baseball - Lamesa nudged by Brownfield
April 11, 2023: Brownfield, TX 79316 The Brownfield Cubs nudged the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cubs now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Littlefield for a 3A Region I District 3 bout on Saturday, April 15. Brownfield will face a Wildcats team coming off a 16-3 league win over Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.
Next, the Tornadoes face the Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 14. Lamesa will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 24-4 non-league loss to Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX).
