Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) and the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Cactus Shadows's baseball squad knock off Desert Mountain by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley battle, on Friday, April 14. Cactus Shadows will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Firebirds enter the battle with a 17-4 record after their 3-3 non-league Centennial (Peoria, AZ).

The Wolves now possess a 7-17 record. They take the field next when they host Horizon for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, April 14. Desert Mountain will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 16-4.
