Game Summary
The Rams offense was sluggish after the long spring break. The only hit came from Senior Zach Musso. He managed to sneak a double past the first baseman in the 4th inning. The Rams moved him over to third base on a ground out, but could not get him home. Overall, the Rams just looked over anxious and flat at the plate. The Rams defense was not any better. Owen Smith took the mound for the Rams and got out of the first inning unscathed, but some shaky play and errors in the second led to the flood gates opening with some key hits from the Red Raiders and 6 runs. Ethan Brotz took the ball for the rest of the game, had a scoreless third, and only gave up 1 run in the 4th. Again though, the Rams defense was shaky at best and Hornell scored 3 more in the 5th bring the game to a close because of the 10-Run rule.
