Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting South San Antonio West Cougars (San Antonio, TX), 9-8 in a league test.

With the win, Poteet upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Aggies host Poth (Poth, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 3A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, April 14. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 17-3. Poth won 10-4 in their recent league test against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX)

With the defeat, South San Antonio West falls to 3-16 on the season. The Cougars travel to Poth (Poth, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 3A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 17-3.
