Illinois High School Soccer - Antioch knocks off Grant Community
April 11, 2023: Fox Lake, IL 60020 Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Sequoits face the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Thursday, April 13. Antioch will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL).
The Bulldogs now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Chicago for a Northern Lake County challenge on Thursday, April 13. Grant Community will face a Warhawks team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Warhawks record now stands at 0-3.
