Illinois High School Baseball - Evanston gets by Highland Park
April 11, 2023: Highland Park, IL 60035 Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 8-5 in a league test.
With the win, Evanston upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wildkits travel to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to battle the Ramblers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 12. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Loyola Academy lost 21-2 in their recent non-league test against Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL)
With the defeat, Highland Park falls to 3-1 on the season. The Giants host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to battle the Scouts in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Scouts come into the test with a record of 0-2.
