Texas High School Softball - Hermleigh bounces Aspermont
April 11, 2023: Aspermont, TX 79502 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Hermleigh Cardinals (Hermleigh, TX) and the host Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX), witnessed Hermleigh's softball squad prevail over Aspermont by a count of 13-3.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Hamlin for a non-league match on Friday, April 14. Hermleigh will face a Pied Pipers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Pied Pipers record now stands at 18-6.
With the loss, Aspermont moves to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Roby (Roby, TX) to face the Lions in a 1A Region I District 7 match on Monday, April 17. The Lions go into the match with a record of 4-7.
