Kentucky High School Softball - Russell bounces Blazer
April 11, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Russell will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Timberwolves record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Blazer falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY) to face the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Flyers enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Franklin County lost 15-4 in their recent league challenge against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY)
