April 11, 2023: Cleveland, TX 77327 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) and the host Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX), saw The Woodlands's softball squad achieve victory over Cleveland by a count of 18-0.
The Highlanders now sport a 19-10 record. They take the field next when they host College Park for a 6A Region II District 13 match on Friday, April 14. The Woodlands will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 16-7 league win over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Cleveland falls to 13-16 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX) to face the War Eagles in a 6A Region II District 13 match on Friday, April 14. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 15-10. Oak Ridge lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Grand Oaks (Spring, TX)
