Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Quakers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Potomac School for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Sidwell Friends will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over National Cathedral (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Connelly School of the Holy Child falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The travel to Bullis (Potomac, MD) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
