Illinois High School Softball - Gardner-South Wilmington bounces Tri-Point
April 11, 2023: Gardner, IL 60424 Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Beecher for a River Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Gardner-South Wilmington will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Donovan (Donovan, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Tri-Point falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Chargers host Grant Park (Grant Park, IL) to face the Dragons in a River Valley challenge on Monday, April 17. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 3-6.
