April 11, 2024: Longville, LA 70652 South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, South Beauregard upgrades its record to 26-3 on the season. The Knights host Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 10-11. Grand Lake lost 11-1 in their recent league test against DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA)
With the defeat, Iowa falls to 15-11 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Westlake (Westlake, LA) to battle the Rams in a 3A District 3 test on Friday, April 12. The Rams come into the test with a record of 17-10. Westlake won 19-4 in their recent league test against Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA)
