April 11, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15209 The New Castle Hurricanes baseball team (New Castle, PA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Thursday's league outing with the host Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Titans now hold a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Allegheny for a WPIAL 5A 3 outing on Monday, April 15. Shaler Area will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-1 league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Hurricanes confront the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 12. New Castle will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA).
