Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rio Americano upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA) to battle the Eagles in a test on Monday, April 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 13-5. Vista del Lago won 15-1 in their recent league test against El Camino (Sacramento, CA)

With the defeat, Laguna Creek falls to 11-5 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA) to battle the The Pride in a non-league test on Friday, April 12.
