McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, McClatchy upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Burbank (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Titans in a test on Tuesday, April 9. The Titans come into the test with a record of 3-8. Burbank lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield (Fairfield, CA)

With the defeat, Rio Americano falls to 9-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, April 11.
