April 11, 2024: Chester, SD 57016 In Thursday's league outing, the host Chester Flyers softball team scored a close 12-11 win over the Viborg/Hurley Cougars.
Coming up next, the Flyers encounter the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) in a Class B outing, on Friday, April 12. Chester will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Fighting Cougars enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Colton, SD).
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Warriors enter the Class B outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Castlewood was tipped by Hanson (Alexandria, SD), 9-6, in a league outing.
