The Rison Wildcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Junction City Dragons to 6 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Rison improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR) to clash with the Trojans in a 2A Region 8 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 4-7. Parkers Chapel won 11-6 in their recent league game against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) in a 2A Region 8 game, on Monday, April 15. Junction City will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record.
