Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ), 8-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Northwest Christian moves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Knights in a 3A Metro match on Monday, April 14. The Knights come into the match with a record of 12-8. Gilbert Christian lost 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ)

The Warriors now possess a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Tan Foothills for a 3A Metro match on Tuesday, April 15.
