The Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Calhoun City Wildcats (Calhoun City, MS), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Choctaw Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. Choctaw County will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 15-1 league loss to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 4-18.

With the defeat, Calhoun City drops to 9-17 on the year. The Wildcats travel to French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 15-7.
