The Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Central Magnet to 5 in the Golden Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia Central for a 4A District 9 outing on Monday, April 14. Shelbyville Central will battle a Lions squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Loretto (Loretto, TN). The Lions record now stands at 11-8.

The (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN). The Raiders come into the non-league outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Moore County was overwhelmed by Eagleville (Eagleville, TN), 4-1, in a league outing.
