The Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots triumphed over the host Cigarroa Toros baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Juarez-Lincoln for a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, April 15. Mission Veterans Memorial will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 0-17.
