The Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) baseball trounced the host Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), 18-10 in Friday's league challenge.

The Roadrunners now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Pine for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Rosamond will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 19-0 league win over Mojave (Mojave, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Desert drops to 4-7 on the year. The Scorpions host Boron (Boron, CA) to clash with the Bobcats in a High Desert challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Boron lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Union (Bishop, CA)
