The Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) volleyball held off the visiting Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cobras now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Greenway for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 15. Cactus will clash with a Demons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Demons record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Odyssey Institute drops to 4-15 on the campaign. The Minotaur travel to ALA - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ) to clash with the Guardians in a 3A West bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Guardians come into the bout with a record of 23-4. ALA - West Foothills won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)
