Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ), 10-9 in a league game.

With the victory, Central Regional improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Braves come into the game with a record of 2-3.

The Bengals now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wall Township for a Shore - Colonial game on Tuesday, April 15.
