Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 5-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Saint Francis advances its record to 9-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Carmel (Carmel, CA) to battle the Padres in a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. The Padres come into the match with a record of 7-6. Carmel lost 10-9 in their recent league match against Salinas (Salinas, CA)

The Fightin' Irish now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Justin-Siena for a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will battle a Braves squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Braves record now stands at 6-6.
