April 11, 2025: Forestville, MD 20747 The DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) lacrosse routed the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), 21-1 in Friday's league outing.
The Stags now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Ireton for a Washington Catholic outing on Tuesday, April 15. DeMatha will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Bishop McNamara falls to 2-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to face the Cardinals in a Washington Catholic outing on Monday, April 14. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 4-7. Bishop Ireton lost 17-7 in their recent non-league outing against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)
