New York High School Softball - Fort Plain bounces Middleburgh
April 11, 2025: Middleburgh, NY 12122 The Fort Plain Hilltoppers softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Middleburgh Knights to 0 in the Hilltoppers league win on Friday.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galway for a Section 2 Western - Northern battle on Monday, April 14. Fort Plain will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 22-3 league win over Canajoharie (Canajoharie, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Middleburgh moves to 0-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Johnstown (Johnstown, NY) to confront the Sir Bills in a Section 2 Western - Northern battle on Monday, April 21. The Sir Bills come into the battle with a record of 0-5.
