Mississippi High School Softball - Pearl River Central sneaks past West Jones
April 11, 2025: Carriere, MS 39426 In Friday's league match, the host Pearl River Central Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the West Jones Mustangs.
The Blue Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Terry (Terry, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region 3 match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Terry nipped Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS), 14-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. West Jones will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record.
