Minnesota High School Softball - Ely bounces Blooming Prairie
April 11, 2026: Blooming Prairie, MN 55917 The Ely Timberwolves softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Blooming Prairie Blossoms to 2 in the Timberwolves non-league win on Saturday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, April 14. Ely will confront a Rangers team coming off a 4-1 league win over International Falls (International Falls, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Blooming Prairie moves to 0-2 on the season. The Blossoms travel to Randolph (Randolph, MN) to confront the Rockets in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 16. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 3-0.
