The South Beloit Sobos overwhelmed the visiting Parkview Vikings softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Sobos meet the West Carroll Thunder (Mount Carroll, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 13. South Beloit will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Thunder go into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL).

The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio/Fall River (Rio, WI). The go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record.
